Plans, tokens, and how your AI app builder allowance resets each day and month
This page covers what you get on your plan and how usage works.
The free Explorer plan
Every account starts on the free Explorer plan. It includes:
- Unlimited public and private projects
- Access to build with AI
- 1,000,000 tokens per month, with a daily cap of 100,000
- Community integrations
- Community support
Everyday requests use a small slice of your allowance, so the free tier is enough to build and refine a real project.
How tokens work
Building uses tokens, the unit that measures the work the agent does: reading your project, planning, writing code, and running commands. A bigger, more sweeping request does more work and uses more tokens; a focused, specific one does less. Clear prompts stretch your allowance further because fewer rounds are spent on rework. See Prompting.
How limits reset
Your allowance has two parts:
- A monthly part that resets on a cycle.
- A daily cap that resets each day, so one heavy day does not drain the month.
You can see both meters and their reset times in the Billing section of your account.
If you run low
Your allowance restores on its own, so you have two options:
- Wait for the next reset. The daily cap comes back each day, and the monthly part resets on its cycle.
- Use it more efficiently in the meantime. Keep requests focused and change one thing at a time. See Prompting.
Scaling up
Payments are disabled during beta, so the plans below are coming soon.
Product Builder is a planned paid plan with a larger monthly allowance (10,000,000 tokens), the option to top up anytime, premium models, priority infrastructure, more custom integrations, and the ability to remove Pluto branding.
